Homefield Cottage - Bed and Breakfast in Somerset

Homefield Cottage built as two Somerset farm cottages in the mid-1800's was later converted to a single dwelling which Sarah and Mike have spent several years extending and refurbishing. The cottage is situated in the most tranquil of settings at the end of a quiet country lane, no through traffic or road noise.

The view towards Cheddar Gorge Bedroom view

It is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, views over the Somerset levels to Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills - a picture in both summer and winter, the perfect location to relax and enjoy the sounds of the countryside.

Breakfast is prepared with home produced or locally sourced ingredients - where possible organic - which include our own free range eggs and home baked bread, as well as homemade jams and marmalades.

Our scrumptious breakfasts are cooked by Mike on the Aga and enjoyed in the farmhouse kitchen.

Alternate dietary needs can be catered for, please advise at time of booking.
